We have formed three levels of teams: National, West Coast, and California. Teams will start at the age of 11, because we know that is the age in which the athletes are ready to begin to get sport-specific and pursue spending more time in one sport. All the teams will get equitable practice experiences and coaching because we know this is one of the critical factors to long-term success. According to FIFA, “talented players must be repeatedly exposed to high-quality, age-appropriate, development sessions both on and off the pitch (court for us!), to become well-rounded athletes.”
Practice times for all 3 teams are; National - 2/3 times per week, West Coast - 2 times per week, and California - 2 times per week. Practice will go from January through April, and then the teams continuing to post-season play at either Junior Nationals or AAU Nationals will continue to train and play through June.
We have formed teams with multiple price points to allow for varying levels of financial commitments and time commitments. We understand, especially at the younger levels, that athletes will still be exploring multiple sports or extracurricular activities. We want to make sure the athletes can continue to pursue their passions, including participating on a high-quality travel volleyball team. We encourage our families to sign up for a team that matches the commitments you are willing to make at this point in time.
Year-by-year things can change for families financially, as well as in the talent development of the athletes at this age. By staying in our club, the athletes will be working in the same environment and system year-by-year in order to continue their growth and see the path forward to success in the sport. They will have opportunities to compete with and against the best within the club. We will regularly see players move up and down in teams as they progress in the sport.

National Teams
The National Team level is for players who are passionate about playing at the collegiate level one day and are prepared to commit significant time and energy to prioritize volleyball. The expectation is that all players are at every practice and tournament with a high-level of focus and commitment. These teams are looking to work to qualify at the best level possible to play in AAU or USAV Nationals, all teams will go to a national tournament at the end of the season and play in multiple national qualification tournaments throughout the season.
- Practice Time: 2-3x per week. 4-6 hours per week
- BSN Gear: Nike sweat jacket, Nike sweat pants, spandex, 2 practice shirts, one long sleeve uniform, and one short sleeve uniform
- Recruiting Coordinator: Available for support and consultation
- Video/HUDL: All teams will have HUDL Assist this upcoming season to more easily watch film as a team and collect accurate statistics throughout the club season. It will be an expectation of our coaches to utilize film and analytics to further develop the athletes and maximize team performance. Matches and/or practices uploaded on a team HUDL account where they can create highlight videos and parents can watch.

West Coast Teams
Goal is development, exposure, and experience as West Coast athletes work to make top National teams. Develop relationships, develop love for the sport, and give them time to develop. These teams are great for players who want to play, but are not at the National team level yet, or can only commit to a shorter season. It’s a wonderful opportunity for athletes learning a new position. Perfect for players who have other commitments equally important to them. Athletes will get max reps, great coaching and will be constantly watched, trained, and evaluated for opportunities to move up to the national teams. Everyone plays as evenly as possible.
- Practice Time: 2-3x per week. 4-6 hours per week

California Teams
These teams are great for athletes who are new to club volleyball. It is all about learning proper movements, mechanics, and volleyball IQ in a FUN environment! This is a great level for players who are looking to play throughout the year to make their school teams and continue to progress in the sport. The goal is progress, not performance! The coaches of these teams will strive to foster a love of the game, teach the fundamentals, and give everyone opportunities to play in challenging matches. It is critical that everyone have opportunities to learn and be challenged in live tournament play. The repetitions will be maximized and the opportunities to compete will be local.
